Ben Mitchell | Executive Vice President
Ben Mitchell is an Executive Vice President at Jamestown Associates. Ben recently served as a Regional Political Director at the National Republican Congressional Committee where he played a pivotal role in taking back the Republican House majority in 2022. During Ben’s tenure with the NRCC, he covered the West Coast, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, and New Hampshire.
In 2020, under Ben’s leadership, Republicans flipped four congressional districts in California, the first time a California Republican candidate flipped a congressional district since 1998. During the 2022 cycle, Ben helped grow the Republican majority with seven offensive pickups while holding all incumbents.
Ben managed Mike Braun’s 2018 U.S. Senate race in Indiana, overseeing a $20 million budget to successfully unseat Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly. Prior to that, Ben has held multiple roles with the Republican National Committee, including director of their campaign management college. Ben has been working in politics for more than a dozen years in various roles in over 20 states.
Ben is a native Mainer and graduate of the University of Maine. He currently resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife.
