When our client Trey Hollingsworth faced a tough congressional primary against popular State Senator Erin Houchin – who saw a late surge in the polls – we knew we had to react quickly and halt her momentum.

Our creative team quickly branded Houchin with the attention-grabbing, yet simple, fact that she voted to raise taxes and increase spending “6 times in 6 months.” As ads were broadcast to TV sets, we dropped complementary direct mail pieces that continued hammering that message. Houchin’s momentum stalled, and Hollingsworth won the primary by a decisive margin.
